Padparadscha Sapphire Ring

The center stone in this fantastic ring is a 1.31 carat Padparadscha, a highly-prized variety of sapphire with a distinctive pinkish-orange color. It is often described a resembling the petal of a lotus flower or the moment of sunrise. The vast majority of sapphires are heat treated to improve their color, but this one has been certified by the Gemological Institute of America to be completely natural and untreated. It is accented by a total of 0.12 carats of diamonds.
