Technicolor Raincross Winner
November 17th, 2009 by James L. Sweaney, CGA, FGA. GGLast Saturday morning, after all the hectic activity of the previous day and night for our Christmas on Main Street event, we held the drawing to award the free Technicolor Raincross. Son-in-law Scott, brilliant as always, suggested we do a double blind method to choose the winner.
In Scott’s word’s, “Once we had collected all the entries from the basket, we picked them out at random and wrote a number on the outside of the folded slips (without looking at the names inside).
“Next, we employed the power of technology to choose our winner! We had a total of 57 entries, so we visited random.org for the result.”
“The computer came up with #16 as the winner… but who would it be?”
“Looking through the pile, we came up with the correct number!”
“Congratulations to our lucky winner, Ruth Adams of Riverside. We hope everyone had a good time at the party!”
We anticipate the first group of pieces to be finished in early December–We are making a limited number of these first runs, so if you want one for Christmas, Order yours now!
