The Technicolor Raincross
Mardon is proud to introduce the newest piece in our collection - the Technicolor Raincross Pendant. We're working with Magick, one of the best jewelry enamelists in the United States, to create a brand-new fine silver pendant. The design will present the Raincross, plus highlights of our city logo, in brightly-colored fine jewelry enamel.
Enameling precious jewelry is a fine art that dates back to the 13th century BC. Special blends of colored glass, ground to a consistency like table salt, are fused to precious metal by firing them to a red hot temperature. The enamel glass melts in place and bonds to the metal base. Brilliant colors and textures are keynotes of fine enamels, which have been known to last for centuries. As of February 13th, both the "Mission Inn" and "Riverside" style pendants are back in stock! We will try to keep them available at all times from now on.
