Custom Alexandrite Wedding Rings

After his fiance Ileana received her engagement ring, we made a matching wedding band, and soldered the rings together when they were married this spring. Notice how beautifully the rings fit together and how nicely the patterns match- a good omen for a marriage!
The round natural alexandrite center is beautifully accented by pear shaped diamonds and the nice design. Alexandrite is a great stone for engagement rings- it’s a very hard and durable gem plus it’s unusual property of color change always gets lots of comment. We showed Dan a group of several alexandrites from Brazil, and this one was definitely the plum- very bright and clear, great cut, strong color change.
Ileana wanted to make a special ring for Dan, not necessarily matching but custom. She gave us a rough sketch featuring celtic weaves and maltese crosses- Jenny, our CAD genius refined the drawing into this design which we think works very well. He likes it a lot– it’s all the more special since she designed it for him.

We don’t post prices on custom orders to protect our client’s privacy. Cost for rings like this will depend on the details, exactly how much the Alexandrite weighs, is it natural, what is it’s quality, how many diamonds, quality, what metal, etc. Give us a call to discuss.

What is the carrot weight of each stone on the ring? How wide are the ring and band when put together? It looks like it is silver, could it theoretically be made in white gold?
